Rebecca is a Registered Psychotherapist with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario and Clinical Consultant at Stevenson, Waplak & Associates. Rebecca’s clinical practice focuses on adults and adolescents experiencing anxious and depressive symptoms. Additionally, Rebecca works with clients navigating transitions, those experiencing negative thought patterns, emotional reactivity, and maladaptive patterns of behaviour. Rebecca also works with individuals ready to identify goals, explore coping skills, and co-create therapeutic plans to make positive life changes.

Using a person-centred and trauma-informed approach, Rebecca draws on cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behaviour therapy (DBT), acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT), narrative, solution-focused, somatic, and positive psychology models.

With training in trauma-informed care, ACT, ADHD support, somatic meditation, Hatha, yin, and breathwork practices, and as a creative writer, Rebecca offers a unique perspective to her clients. In addition, Rebecca enjoys travelling, spending time with her family, and hiking. Finally, as a parent to teenagers with a background in business, coaching, and mentoring, Rebecca enjoys helping people reach their full potential. She is dedicated to working alongside her clients to achieve their therapeutic goals. Rebecca offers in-person sessions at the Belleville office and virtually to clients across Ontario.
