At SWA all assessments / consultation requests can be developed for administration either in-person, or virtually based on the individual’s requests.

Assessments/Consultations: Description

Assessments at SWA are built on the foundation of psychometrics. Psychometrics is a field of study within psychology and education that focuses on the theory and technique of psychological measurement. This includes the development, administration, and interpretation of quantitative tests designed to measure psychological variables such as intelligence, personality traits, attitudes, and abilities. Psychometricians use statistical methods to ensure that tests are reliable and valid, meaning they consistently measure what they are intended to measure and accurately reflect the construct being assessed.

Assessments/Evaluations refer to the collection and analysis of information gathered through interviews, questionnaires, and standardized tests.

Assessments/Evaluations are used to answer specific questions about the nature of a Client’s problem and to offer recommendations and/or solutions to resolve or manage the problem more effectively.
