Rebecca House, MA - RP-(Q)

Rebecca is a Registered Psychotherapist (Qualifying) with the College of Registered Psychotherapists of Ontario at Stevenson, Waplak & Associates. Rebecca’s supervised clinical practice focuses on adults and adolescents experiencing anxious and depressive symptoms. Additionally, Rebecca works with clients navigating transitions, those experiencing negative thought patterns, emotional reactivity, and maladaptive patterns of behaviour. Rebecca also works with individuals ready to identify goals, explore coping skills, and co-create therapeutic plans to make positive life changes.

Using a person-centered and trauma-informed approach, Rebecca uses interventions from cognitive-behavioural therapy (CBT), dialectical behavioural therapy (DBT), narrative, solution-focused, somatic, and positive psychology models in her therapeutic approach.

As a registered yoga instructor (RYT) with training in somatic meditation, Hatha, yin, and breathwork practices, and as a creative writer, Rebecca offers a unique perspective to her clients. In addition, Rebecca enjoys traveling, spending time with her family, and hiking. Finally, as a parent to teenagers with a background in business, coaching, and mentoring, Rebecca enjoys helping people reach their full potential and is dedicated to working alongside her clients to achieve their therapeutic goals.
