Michael’s undergraduate degree’s in Psychology (BA) and Physical Education (BPhEd) were completed at Brock University. He earned his graduate degree in Counselling Psychology from the Adler School of Professional Psychology in 2001. Mike joined Stevenson, Waplak, and Associates as a part-time clinician in 2002.

In 2006, Mike completed a graduate school certificate in psychological assessments and is well versed in Adlerian, Cognitive Behavioural, and Brainspotting psychotherapies.

Mike has extensive experience providing addiction and mental health, acquired brain injury, and family treatment as a clinician within the hospital, community, private, and post-secondary school settings during the past 30 years. In addition to his clinical work, Mike loves spending time with his best friend and partner Ali, is a proud father of 3 boys, a soccer, curling, and billiards fanatic, coach, and volunteers whenever he can on boards of soccer, curling, and health organizations.
