COVID 19 CLINIC UPDATE

A few important updates and recommendations during our focus on reducing the spread of COVID-19 while supporting the overall health of our clients.

Effective immediately, we’re switching non-urgent appointments to our telehealth format. Phone and live video consults are available with all SWA clinicians. If you have an appointment scheduled Julie will reach out to you to confirm the appointment, review your health status (COVID-19 screener questions), and provide options for your appointment. To schedule new appointments these can be scheduled in the regular manner through Julie either by phone (613-967-0545), or email ().

Our office has expanded the use of the Google Meet Conferencing platform for video conferencing which many of you will already be familiar. Although internet security measures have been taken by Google Meet Conferencing and our office it is acknowledged that the benefit of accessibility to this service does come with the risk that no internet based service can indicate 100% confidentiality.

We know that many of you will want to continue your sessions in order to maintain your overall health during times of higher stress. Please reach out and we will be looking to accommodate for current and new clients.

If an in-person session is scheduled please note to ring the doorbell on the left side of the main door to identify that you have arrived. The main doors will be locked to ensure we are aware of who is in the building. Services will be provided respecting the Public Health recommendation of social distancing (six feet).

Beyond the current recommendations for social distancing, hand washing … a strong immune system is your best defence. Get some sleep, eat well, be active, engage in a new activity or something that you just have not had time to do. Be well.

Yours in good health,

The SWA Team
