Victoria and Brad
About Us:
Brad and I have been married for just over two years and were lucky enough to seal the deal in Canada with immediate family, and then again in the Dominican with 20 of our close friends. We both grew up in the area, Brad in Belleville and I grew up in Stirling. We are both active people who love to travel, enjoy the outdoors and are very family oriented. We have two energetic dogs that are four and one years old and love the outdoors just as much as us. We chose to become Parent Therapists because we both share a love for children and would like to make a difference in children’s lives. We have a large support system of friends and family in the area that are behind us in this life change. Brad will continue to work as a plumber full time, Monday to Thursday, while I am the primary parent therapist.

Description of Home
Current Placements / Number of Beds Approved: 2
Our house is located north of Trenton, it is a two-year-old home, built with views of the Trent river to the front of the house and horse field to the back of the property. Our house is a four-bedroom home with an open concept design. We have a large back yard with a planned new deck and swing in Spring 2009. There are two bedrooms upstairs and two downstairs. The basement has a large built in movie theatre for family movie nights with a beverage and popcorn bar.
Management Style
We will operate a program that is family oriented and treatment focused. Our program includes teaching children life skills, respect, responsibility and ethics. We use natural consequences as a learning tool. Our program is tailored to each residents’ individual needs.
Our Interests
We enjoy any outdoor activities. We love boating in the summer, and anything on the water. We camp in the summer and enjoy the good weather. The new YMCA is only minutes from our house and we plan on getting a family pass as soon as it opens. Brad and I also spend a great deal of time with our families. We enjoy day outings to places like Canada’s Wonderland and the zoo.
