About Us:

Kevin and I have always been partners both in business and life. After raising four children we are now
excited to offer our safe and caring environment to others. We understand the challenges of blended
families. Our unique life experiences have taught us to appreciate the importance of other people in
our lives, biological or otherwise, who through their compassion can offer direction and security. We
understand individual uniqueness and the importance of respect for others while showing direction. As
we settle into the next phase of ours lives we are fortunate to enjoy a lifestyle that will allow us the
time to focus on a new partnership, one that offers guidance and direction to children who are in need
of extra special care and attention.

  • Zachary, 25, studied philosophy at Mount Allison University, Sackville N.B., now completing RED SEAL
    carpentry, coaches Mount Allison Women’s Hockey Team,
  • Tyson, 22, fourth year studying philosophy St. Francis Xavier University, Antigonish N.S
  • Mackenzie, 19, first year Queens University, plays goal for the varsity hockey team, musician
  • Victoria, 14, grade 9 Centennial High School, arts program

Nancy

  • Raised in a family business and moved to Belleville with my three sons where Kevin and I
    opened several stores in eastern Ontario.
  • Director of Marketing for the Belleville Bulls and received my Real Estate License after
    completing the RECO course.
  • Trained in palliative care and volunteered with Hospice Quinte for four years.
  • Completed Canadian Red Cross CPR and First Aid Training.
  • Extensive coaching experience, Quinte Red Devils, Belleville Girls Hockey
  • Self-directed training

Kevin

  • Worked for Nike Canada for 11 years
  • Self employed with Nancy operating sporting goods stores in eastern Ontario
  • Completed RECO course and obtained Real Estate Licence. Currently working for Royal Lepage
    Pro Alliance.
  • Self-directed training

Our Pets

Two dogs Shadow and Belle. Two pet goats, Pixie and Chai. Two pet finches, Steiner and Tolle, as well as laying
hens who are great pets as well as providers. In the summer we have horses that graze in the fields and
we also raise chickens.

Description of Home

 

We live an a Century Victorian Farm house set ¾ kilometre from the road and secluded with 150 acres of
mature trees, fields and ponds. Our home has a huge country kitchen, four bedrooms and three
bathrooms. We have two staircases, the one from the kitchen leading to an open foyer with two
bedrooms, bathroom and play area. Our house has a covered wrap around porch where we spend many
hours enjoying summer meals, music and reading. We all co-operate in tending large vegetable and
flower gardens. There is an inground pool as well as a lit skating pond. Gardens, animals, nature and
music are all key elements in offering a serene and holistic way of life.
