Description of Home

Current Placements / Number of Beds Approved: 4

Our home is located east of Belleville, Ontario, bordering on Shannonville, in a quiet rural area. The home is a four year-old home with five bedrooms and two bathrooms, which has a fully finished basement. We are situated on a one-acre lot in the country with lots of space for outdoor sports and activities.

Management Style

I operate a structured therapeutic long term care program, which focuses on building youth self-esteem and skills for a productive life. The home environment, educates youth on life skills including cooking, cleaning, daily routine and chores. The youth are provided with a relaxed and well-rounded living experience, focusing on health and wellness, fitness and outdoor activities. I encourage open communication between myself and the boys by providing a warm and comfortable environment.

Our Interests

The boys are strongly encouraged to be active in the community and in their education, through various programs at school and extra curricular activities, such as, martial arts, kayaking, downhill skiing, camping, canoeing, fishing and part-time employment.
