About Us

I started my career with Quinte Children’s Homes in 2006 as a Child and Youth Worker and now have opened my own home as a Relief Parent Therapist residence. I enjoy participating in recreational activities such as swimming, rollerblading, skiing and scrapbooking. All of which is incorporated in programming with the children that come on relief to my home.

My home is located in a quiet, child friendly neighbourhood. It is surrounded by local elementary schools and high schools as well as recreational centers such as the Quinte Sports Center. The house is only 6 years old, with 4 bedrooms and 2 bathrooms. The back yard is large enough for children to play in and also has a large fire place for summer time bon fires.

Management Style:

I run a relief/ respite home for Quinte Children’s Homes. I utilize the local community recreation centers such as the Quinte West and Belleville YMCA as well as local parks and beaches. The children are provided with a program involving routines, chores and lots of activities to promote healthy growth and development while staying in my home.
