Description of Home
Current Placements / Number of Beds Approved: 4
Jay and I live in one of Quinte Children’s Homes high ranch style houses, in the friendly city of Belleville. Our home is a five bedroom house, with three bedrooms upstairs and two bedrooms downstairs. Each level has its own bathroom and living room.
Management Style
We operate a home focused on a family oriented program, with strong emphasis on relationship building between child and parent therapist, while implementing a variety of different life skills suited to the child needs.
Our Interests
We are both very outgoing and enjoy many recreational activities, which include camping in a variety of Ontario Parks, hiking, biking, rollerblading and many other recreational sports. In the summer, we camped in Algonquin Provincial Park, and took in some bear sitings at the Whitney garbage disposals. We enjoy spending twelve hour days at Wonderland, trips to the beach, and trips to my family farm located in the great back country of Rockingham, which you could compare to a petting zoo. Our boys were able to make extra money with Jay, completing yard work at a retirement home.
