About

Every stage of life brings exciting challenges as well as problematic obstacles. At BridgeCross, we offer girls and young women a confidential and therapeutic home environment to learn the necessary skills to manage.

BridgeCross began building its team of medical and mental health professionals in 2006. Girls and young women are offered a dedicated staff with specialized experience in Nutrition, Family Medicine, Psychiatry, Psychology, Counselling, Psychometry, Social Work and Education.

BridgeCross is an outpatient and intensive residential eating disorder program in Belleville, Ontario, Canada, created specifically to help girls and young women between the ages of 11 and 18 years begin the process of recovery from an eating disorder. The girls live and learn alongside their peers and maintain connection with family and education, while being medically treated and emotionally cared for.

This program aims at fostering self-esteem and a positive self-image in its girls, while helping them with weight restoration and/or stabilization.
